PRE-WEDDING TRIAL

THINGS TO THINK ABOUT BEFORE YOUR TRIALS…

  • You maybe thinking about having your trial 3 months before your big day but you need to let your artist know and get booked in. Many artists are busy especially through peak wedding season and at this point some artists won’t do trials on the weekends as time can be limited.

  • Have ideas ready for your trial day, it's always helpful if you have researched some images of what you like (and even dislike). this can really help the artists with creating your dream look (2 or 3 styles or looks to try is best) even if you think you know what you like now it’s the time to try as you may surprise yourself.

  • Tip - for an outdoor wedding especially have a good weather plan and a bad weather plan, if you are hoping for glam waves then on the day it's really windy with rain your style may not hold up so you might want to go for a strong up style that the wind/rain will not touch!

  • Have your outfit ready, we assume 3 months before (or when having your trial) you would have your outfit ready but it's always worth checking. Again this can really help the artist achieve your dream, if you have a high neck style with lots of detail an up-do may be best or if there’s a dominant colour/tone in your outfit your make-up artist will help to compliment this with your skin tone.

  • If you haven’t already got a dermatologist/beautician or a skincare routine now is the time, get some advice on what you will need to help achieve your beauty goals (your make-up artist can help guide you through the process).
